This pack focuses on the following books: The Jolly Christmas Postman (1991 Greenaway Winner) 31 page colour document Visual Literacy Pack 2 is full of activities designed to encourage children and young people to look more closely and critically at illustrations. This pack focuses on the anniversary top ten Greenaway titles. 33 page colour document Collection Interpretation Pack 1 - Outsiderness/Difference/Diversity Collection Interpretation Pack 1 takes a look at the past winners list and how the books have dealt with ideas of difference, outsiderness, and diversity. This brief journalistic overview demonstrates how some of the past winning books have exemplified these themes – from The Family From One End Street (1937 Carnegie Winner) to The Other Side of Truth (2000 Carnegie Winner). Collection Interpretation Pack 2 - Home and Abroad Collection Interpretation Pack 2 discusses the theme of how past winning books have reflected different ways of looking both at the UK, and at the world beyond our shores.
