Wolf Hollow: "Full of grace and stark, brutal beauty"
This was unanimously liked by everyone that had read it and I can't wait for the reviews. Well done to those who got 10/10 on the quiz. We had a wonderful discussion, wondering why Betty acted like she did and what the book can tell us about how we sometimes judge people, without really knowing them. If you haven't had a chance to read Wolf Hollow yet, then make sure you do!

Sputnik's guide to life on earth!
We have started to shadow the 2017 Carnegie, and so far we have read "Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth" by Frank Cottrell Boyce. This book can teach us so much about life and caring for someone with dementia. We had a brilliant discussion last week and one particular line stands out..when Sputnik says to Prez that "Grandad doesn't even know who you are." and Prez replies "But I know who he is.." How important is that!
