review of "Mort" by Terry Pratchett
The book "Mort" by Terry Pratchett was very funny and exciting. the story follows a scrawny boy called mort, who become the apprentice to death, who is the classic skeleton in a cloak. Throughout the story mort gets into disastorous circumstances and how he has to take over from death when death takes a vacation. I would recommend this book to anyone 10 and over who loves comady and adventure. review written by Jordan Bailey (13)

Meeting 25.01.2011
Today at our meeting we started to create our homepage. We also had a discussion based upon a number of books. By looking at their front covers, blurbs and opening pages we decided our favourite books were: 'The Longest Whale Song' by Jaqueline Wilson and 'The Golden Compass' by Phillip Pullman. Next week we are each going to bring along a brilliant book which we have read to talk about and discuss with the rest of the group. Check out our blog next week to find out which book makes it to the top spot of 'book of the week!'
