BIG BEAR little brother
BIG BEAR little brother is by Carl Norac and is illustrated by Kristin Oftedal. We like this book because the drawings are very deatailed and looks ruff. We like the way it says the differances between a human and a bear. We also think it is very sad at the end. We all thought the story is sweet and unique. :D

A lot of us at St Mary Bourne Primary School love the book FArTHER, but we think that the book is aimed at older children. We think this because the pictures are more detailed and the story line is hard for younger children to understand. Also the fact that the dad goes to war and never comes back is very sad. We think that the poppies reprisent that very well... what do you think?

Favourite books
The year sixes and reception class voted on which picture book was their favourite. Lots of reception boys loved 'Jim' because it is gruesome and quite funny, but they were out-voted by everyone else - who voted for 'FArTHER'.
