The Death Defying Pepper Roux
While this book was quite short It was entertaining while it lasted. The story is about a boy named Pepper Roux whose aunt prophecised on the day of his birth that he would die before fourteen. On his 14th birthday Pepper steals his father's ship and runs away from his life, always paranoid of angelic assassins.

Monsters Of Men
I found this book quite enjoyable. At first the book seemed like a sci-fi book with a lot of things being blown up as implied by the opening line of "War, at last." I was only partially correct as the story develops and becomes a lot deeper. This is partly due to the fact that three of the main characters gave their own narrative of events giving multiple points of view

brides farewell
I started reading the book and enjoyed it to start off with, but towards halfway it began to become a bit boring...... not much was going on! It was not easy to pick up and read. so in the end i decided to give up. I liked it because it had some horses in it, but i found the charcter Pell quite miserable.

Out of the Shadows
Out of the shadows was a heart breaking book about after the war for human rights for black people . Some of characters had different ideas though of how to treat them. It had a sad and exciting finish of yet another war on their school grounds . The fight is about if their prime minister will have a life at the end of that school day. It is set in Zimbabwe 1980ís. The end is set when he was grown up with a family.

White Crow
Despite an interesting plot, the three perspectives from which it's told can be confusing. My favourite element of the book was the drama centred around Ferelith's and Rebecca's friendship, as it generates believable emotions.
