My Sister Lives on the Mantlepiece- Thoughts so far . . .
This book is one of the first books i have really enjoyed in a long time. The only criticism i would have is that the book doesn't have a climax anywhere. The language could be a more complex because it is written from the point of view of a 10year old, so i feel it restricts description a bit. Apart from that, i really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone age 10 upwards.

Everybody Jam
Two of us have read Everybody Jam so far, and we think there is some good suspense as the reader is kept wondering who the father of the narrator's sister is, and the tension between the family members draws the reader in. However, as the book goes on we must say we were slightly disappointed as the last few chapters dragged on. We're looking forward to reading a few of the other books and seeing how they compare to Everybody Jam! Kim and Christian
