Michael Bonney - "Trash" by Andy Mulligan
The book starts with us meeting Raphael Fernández, a dumpsite boy. People think that dumpsite boys and girls might find some important / interesting items in the rubbish dumps, but Raphael tells us that mostly they find "stuppa", or as we would call it, human faeces. He was told "Maybe one day you'll find something nice". Then one day, he did. --- A brilliant start to a brilliant book. I really want to know what he found, as it was the perfect moment for a cliffhanger. I hope that he finds something great! As a rubbish-boy, he digs through 'Trash' (excuse the pun) to find things that can be sold. It is, in my opinion, a horrible way to live. I really hope his job becomes more exciting now!
