It's Maddie. I read all the books a while ago and they are all totally amazing! My favourite is Between shades of Grey (American spelling is irritating though!) and My Sister Lives on the Mantlepiece, closely fpllowed by My Name is Mina. Definitely the top three, but which one to win! Write reviews! Lots of reviews. Especially on 'A Monster Calls', as the authors of the best ones get to go and see the awesome Patrick Ness! Well worth it! If you're struggling (E.L.!) then I googled 'how to write a book review,' and this seemed like the best website. x Not checked it thoroughly, so sorry if it's rubbish. *<):o) Awesome clown, no!!!? P.S.Well done Rhian. x P.P.S.PLEASE put capital letters on your names when you write reviews! x

Carnegie 2010 in Interesting Times
Well, it's all go in the world of politics - at the time of writing, no one knows who's going to be the winner. And that's a little bit like the Carnegie, isn't it. So read the books, make your choice. First past the post wins!

Evening all, I'm this weeks guest editor and I hope you like the re-designed page so far. I have now read all 7 books and know which book I think should win, but that's for me to know for now. Can't wait for the party. Enjoy, from Rebecca.

Hello Sophie...
I was wondering when Kevin Brooks' No. 1 fan would crop up here. If I met him in the street, I'd RUN AS IF ALL THE DEMONS IN HELL WERE CHASING ME! No offence, like.

Disgraceful Review by Mr E
Hello Everybody, I am Lewis and I am the new guest editor... I have relieved Lewis of the keyboard to speak out against the unfair review Mr E gave Black Rabbit Summer. Upon reading his review I felt it was despicable and unjust. Mr E should take the time to read some of Kevin Brooks other books, which are brilliant works of fiction!... Back to what I was saying before my sister ripped the keyboard away from me and went on a rant about Mr E's review, I will try and post regular updates as it is now half term - Yes!!. I hope you like the new page - Lewis

I've got so much other stuff to read that I can't start a second Carnegie book! Not sure which one to go for next - probably 'Creature of the Night'. Anyway, thanks to Sion for guest editing this last week - looking forward to seeing this stuff you've filmed! Don't forget to try phoning in reviews - I'll try and email the number out tomorrow. And I want photos to put on here as well...come on - dress up! Next guest editor is Lizz - welcome! Mr E

I'm Taking Over
Hello people, I am Sion and I am taking over this website for a week or something like that ;-). Hopefully I'll be on here everyday with a new poll and maybe a new Star Review (I'm not taking any bribes...) btw if I can I may come round the groups and record a video of each of the 3 groups to put on the website, but I might not be able to do so but oh well! - Sion

Got down to reading!
Well, half way through Black Rabbit Summer now. Couldn't put it down last night - may have another crack at it now. It's quite grim. Got some volunteers for guest editors on this page - just going to set that up now. Can't wait to see what Sion makes of it... Mr E

First week - here we go!
All the books are in, the groups are set up, and I'm setting up the online features. Biggest question people are asking is - "When are we going to go to an author talk?". Looking forward to next week, when people will have started reading the books. Mine have started arriving - but which to read first? Mr E
