Reading Club News - 17th May 2012
The 8 different books are awesome! There is a variety of different genres. Dylan, "A Small Change for Stuart" is my favourite as it creates good imagery and I can't put it down"! Hannah "My Name is Mina" is my favourite book because it is like a journal and Mina is different from most other children. Selindiona "My Name is Mina" is also my favourite book as Mina suffers from depression and she doesn't fit in at School. Rhianna "Between Shades of Grey" is my favourite book because it is based on Lithuania during WW2 when some of its citizens are evacuated to Siberia. Ellie "My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece" is my favourite as it is very moving and as the story went on the characters came to terms with their bereavement. Sam "Trash" is my favourite book because it really puts an image in your mind and I couldn't put it down; its full of suspense. Charlie "Small Change for Stuart" is my favourite book because it is a very inventive book and you never know what is going to happen next. Adam "My Sister Lives on the Mantelpiece" is my favourite book as the main character Jamie narrates the story.
