Hooray for Cake!
Cake and books are a great combination! Added to being with all your friends and fellow book-lovers aka awesome people! Some really interesting books here and we look forward to reading them all! Zoe, Louise and Abigail (pigeon and puffin and the other one!) :)

PARTY!!!!!!
Best party known to library-kind! *confetti* Final meeting turned out to be an epic party with cake!! The sad thing is that it was our last meeting :'( The saddest thing, however, is that we will have no more Wednesday breaktime cake :( Oh well, the books were all great! :) Some had happy endings and others... um... let's leave it at that. It was a good celebration of the books and the time we spent reading together *more confetti*

It's nearly voting time (and we've run out of headline ideas)
In some ways we're happy that this is nearly over- we've run out of headlines (and general content) for this blog. We need to think about what book to vote for (easier said than done!) but some of us haven't read them all. Oh well, at least we have another week to decide.

We have a routine!
Refer to the title. We seem to have slipped into a routine; Arrive, take a cake, tick off your name, take another cake, choose a book, take yet another cake, talk to a few friends, take a final cake, and leave! The next books will probably be as good as the books we chose before.

Books and Biscuits
When we came to the meeting we were warmly greeted with teacakes and crisps - oh and there were people as well! We have our 4th book now and we are enjoying them. :) We still can't decide which one to vote for as our favourite. Decisions, decisions...

Grab a biscuit, get a book and go!
Our third meeting was extremely short. Most of us had finished our second book and were getting our third. We read quickly! We wasted no time choosing our new books- most of us knew what we wanted to read next!

Books, Books and more Books!
We've all completed our first books and now we've chosen our second! We entered our second meeting and were graced with the presence of doughnuts. And they were very nice doughnuts. We can't wait to see what our second book is like- in fact some of us were so excited that we read and finished the book as soon as we could! Looking forward to our third book.

Reading, reading, reading...............
The first batch of books have all been taken and read and the next lot have just gone out. Wow! Lots of animated chatting, with everyone discussing books they liked and also those they didn't enjoy. Plenty of eating going on too!! Thank you Isabelle for remembering the doughnuts.

Pupils, Books and Cake!!
Our first meeting was today. There were 8 different books to choose from, some of us couldn't decide! We came into the Library and were greeted with numerous plates of cake as well as Haribos and a few boxes of books and a LARGE crowd of people. There were about 26 of us in total (it felt bigger). While we enjoyed the delicacies of cake Mrs Marshall took some pictures. Once we had eaten our fill the Librarians introduced what we were doing while we examined the books. We then chose our books and left-but not before we had finished the cake.

16 Pupils, 8 Books and Lots Of Cake!
Today saw the first meeting of the St George's dragon readers for the cilip carnegie medal 2013. As the ribbon was pulled and the box opened, the room burst into shouts "oooh", and "yay!". The meeting progressed, much cake was eaten, and books checked out. To all the dragon readers, let the challange commence!
