The Weight Of Water...
I am almost finished with this amazing book, this book is quite moving, I am hooked to this book because of the way it is set out (as a poem). I hope the ending is interesting. I am pretty sure whoever reads this book will enjoy it like me . Karishma Suchak year 7

Im finally taking reading seriously
I'm sooo excited to be joining the Carnegie group. its pushing me to read books even when I honestly hated the idea of it... 'why read a book when there's the internet' I thought... but i was obviously wrong.... there are soo many different books that can be read with a diverse number of morals.... I'm so excited to be reading " Midwinterblood!" cannot wait to be reviewing it and obviously presenting my views on it. JOIE yr 9

The Weight Of Water!
I have not yet began reading "The Weight Of Water", I am extremely excited about the different style of this poetic structured story. After reading most detailed reviews my desire to read it has grown stronger. And I hope it will keep me entertained !! Karishma Yr 7.

reading my first book
MidwinterBlood has a complicated but exciting storyline. One of the best books I've ever read. Can't wait to see what's going to happen at the end.

Amazing Opening - In Darkness
Year 6 are busy reading, reading, reading. They have decided that their favourite opening belongs to In Darkness. This is what they had to say.... 'I am the voice in the dark.' haunting, repetition of I am in opening paragraph creates a mystery and intrigue! ...engages the reader with 'calling out for your help' The main character is speaking directly to 'you' - the reader! It sounds almost tender and hopeful so you get a shock with the next paragraph which begins, 'I am a killer,' WOW! Rohan, Neema, Iita, Pranathi, Emma, Sidharth (year 6)

Getting Ready to Read Read READ
The holidays have come, the books have not (we're in Tanzania with sticky customs' officers), but luckily I can instantly upload 7 out of the 8 books on my kindle, and am loving the selection so far. I was touched by "The Weight of Water", felt chills up my spine reading "A Greyhound of a Girl" and am in the middle of a creepy rural mystery "Midwinterblood". I only hope the box arrives so that the students will be able to start reading once the term begins on Monday... Shadowing Leader at Isamilo, Mwanza
