Lots going on in our reading club tonight!
Today we read the book King Jack and the Dragon and discussed how it reminded us of We're Going on a Bear Hunt as it alternated between colour and black and white pictures. We also said that it reminded us of Where the Wild Things are when the dragons and the beasts come out in the forest. Molly and Zoe have been busy drawing pictures from their favourite books. Amy and Abigail are busy writing their own stories based on the book 'I want my Hat Back' and Madeline has written a review of Black Dog ready for our assembly on Friday. Get voting on our poll - which is your favourite book?

Week 1
23rd April 2013 We had our first Shadowing book club today. We spent time looking at the amazing books and deciding on all the fun things we would like to do based on the books. Mrs Thomas then read to us the book 'Oh No George!' We discussed our likes and dislikes and looked in depth at the different illustrations especially the colour choices and the different ways George had been drawn and how this helped to tell the story.
