A cuckoo song
Amazingly creepy. A must read. If you love to be terrified at night then this is the book for you! Tavel with Triss and Penny throughout the story. Every chapter is better than the last.

Liar & Spy
This was great! I agree with what someone said earlier: it never really builds up to anything. The writing is pretty good and the plot is so cool! I wondered why it was called 'Liar & Spy' at the start because it seemed nothing to do with lies but you will see... I give it 9/10 because the writting wasn't as descriptive as the book I am reading now. Blog posted written by AlwaysAddi (Rae).

The Child's Elephant
This book is only good once you are exactly half way through. It is very boring and repetitive until the 17th chapter. Rtaing: 6 and a half/10 Posted by Guinea Pig123

Roof Toppers -My favourite book of all
This is a book about a girl (called Sophie)who floats away in a ship wreck as a baby and is sure she sees her mother wave for help. She flees to Paris and meets a bunch of people who lives on the roof tops. She hears music and tries to find her mother. 5/5 and 100/10. :) Blog post written by Always Addi (Rae).

Rooftoppers is a lovely book about a girl trying to find her mum and who meets children who live on roofs on the way. My only criticism is that sometimes the style of writing seems like a child. 9/10 Posted by Guinea Pig123. This is the seventh Carnegie medal book I have read!!

Blood Family
This book is a wonderful book about the hardships people suffer and the way we overcome them. It also tells us about how we have the option to be who we want. Rating: 7. Posted by Guinea Pig123

The Bunker Diary- 4 stars (out of 5)
This book is well writen and entertaning, It is about a boy who is kidnapped. The plot is a good one, however it fails to tell you what the kidnapper wanted, though there are slight signs of what he wanted. If you love gripping and haunting storys then this is the book for you!

All The Truth That's In Me
*This blog post contains spoilers.* This book is quite slow to get into because it is the girls thoughts and their isn't much explanation of who everyone is. By the end of the book, it is very much a murder mystery. It follows the story of a young girl, who you think was harmed by her crushes dad. She was, but he saved her. He cut her tongue out so the real murderer (who killed her friend) wouldn't come back for her. This post only makes sense if you have read the book. Rating: 10. Posted by Guinea Pig123

The Bunker Diary
This book is a good book as you are reading it, but the end is rubbish. All through the book, the main question is "Why are they there?" and the book fails to answer. I enjoyed reading the main part but the end was boring. it should at least cut to the man who kidnapped them and find out why they were kidnapped, or explained in an Afterword. Lots of unanswered questions at the end and a must not read book. My rating would be a lot higher if these questions were answered. Rating: 4 and a 1/2. Posted by Guinea Pig123

Ghost Hawk
THIS BLOG POST CONTAINS SPOILERS! This book follows the story of a young Indian boy called Little Hawk. At the start of the book he goes on a three month test of strength and survival, but when he comes back, all his family are more or less dead. His life intertwines with an English boy and it is a lovely book full of friendship, fear and pride. Rating out of ten: 7 and a half. Posted by Guinea Pig123

Liar and Spy
This book is a good idea and I would recommend that people read it but there is an anti-climax. It never really builds up to something amazing. If you are looking for danger and excitement, don't read it. Rating out of ten:4. Posted by Guinea Pig123

The Bunker Diary - 1 Star (out of 5)
Please do not read this blog post if you think it might spoil the book for you. The book is about people getting kidnapped. The whole book is described very well but I hate the plot. People die from starvation, murder, poison, infection and suicide. I couldn't get to sleep after reading this and in the end I started crying because the ending was so depressing and horrific. By the way, it has a lot of swears in it. Rating out of 10: 2. This was posted by AlwaysAddi (Rae).

MUST READ: The Child's Elephant
I would recommend this book to anyone. It an incredibly emotional book which plays with all the emotions: love, loss, happiness, sadness, fear and anger. You could cry out of sadness or happiness. It is fiction but it finds its roots in fact. It folows the story of Bat, Muka and Meya the elephant. A must read. Posted by lottipony

The Wall
This is a really great book about a young boy named Joshua that lives in the city of Amarias which is divided by a huge wall. Ever since his mum married Liev, his stepfather, he ahs been told stories about the terrible people on the other side of The Wall, that would kill him if they got a chance. When Joshua finds a tunnel, dug underneath The Wall, his life is turned upside down. This is a very powerful book and I would really recommend it.Rating out of ten? Nine. Posted by Guinea Pig123
