Review on One by Sarah Crossan
One is a book about Tippi and Grace, who are conjoined twins. I found this book really easy to read and I am not the greatest reader myself. I loved the fact that it is up to date and modern and that a lot of people will be going through the struggles that Tippi and Grace have to go through, whether they are conjoined or not. Obviously, Tippi and Grace just have a few more struggles added on top of their normal everyday struggles in life. Tippi and Grace's family start to go through some financial struggles as their medical bills from the day they were born must have cost an arm and a leg to try and keep them alive. However, there was one solution to their problems, if Tippi and Grace agreed to be filmed and have prying eyes into their everyday life. They agree to do it and so they get to stay at their school with their friends!! This book does have a sad ending so if you are quite an emotional person, you should definitely have a box of tissues ready!! I read this book pretty fast and I really enjoyed it. I would recommend this book to teenage girls and I would definitely give it 5 stars out of 5!!
