Reviews coming soon
If you're wondering why there are so few reviews, it's because we've only just started reading the books :-) (Website manager)

Stuck into their books
Everyone is the library is reading non-stop. This year's Carnegie Shortlist must be a good one... Well, we already know that they must be great, because everyone I can see is stuck into a Carnegie book.

Carnegie 2016 has begun!
Right now, we're discovering and investigating the books from the new Carnegie Shortlist. So far, we love them. From here, I can see Flora and Alex stuck into their books, reading away. I'm sure there are more bookworms reading in the corner of the library, or snuggling down on a sofa... Freddie says that already, without reading them "these books are great!". Our new website representatives are James & Freddie, and we promise you, we'll make this site the best Carnegie site on the web!

Ruth's first impressions of The Wall:
"Looking at the cover, I can see the red barbed wire, and a tree. The barbed wire is around the tree, indicating that natural, beautiful things are walled in and harshly trapped in this book. The title also contributed to that thought, There is a red bar at the bottom, smudged with black, which could be the blood-stained floor. This might show an unstable government, where many wars have taken place. Overall I feel that this book has dangerous, unsafe feeling about it, but also mysterious and making the reader want to know what will happen next."
