10th May: Getting Online
Sadly, our numbers dwindled today... If you are a Book Surfer, then please do come along to the meetings so we can chat about our favourite thing... reading! Dewmi and Bianca were awesome this week, updating the website by adding some fantastic reviews - please give them a read. Next week, we're hoping for a full house.

3rd May: Quote Sharing
On the 3rd May, The Book Surfers, was led by Michelle and Steffie. Our group leaders encouraged us to share our thoughts on what we had been reading and to read quotations to each other. These included: "We don't have to be blood to be family." The Smell of Other People's Houses "Guilt is a hunter." Salt to the Sea "My slow, unjoined speech began as perfect thoughts." Keep reading, book surfers!

Carnegie Kick Off
Tomorrow will be our first Carnegie Shadowing meeting... Here's the plan: 1. Agree on our group name. 2. Debate: Can you judge a book by its front cover? 3. Decide who is going to read which book. 4. Create a review rota... And a snacks schedule! Looking forward to meeting you all! Mrs Brown
