The Cosmic Ravensbourne Readers
Kent,

Our Final Meeting
This was our round up meeting - we each expressed in one sentence what we enjoyed about our Shadowing experience over biscuits and juice cartons! As well as discovering books outside our usual choices that challenge our existing ideas, the group enjoyed being able to express their opinions in a relaxed and friendly environment. As a thank you for taking part, everyone received a certificate, bookmark, printed copy of our Shadowing magazine, chocolate and a free book of their choice. We look forward to Carnegie Shadowing 2018!

Our Penultimate Meeting!
It was very exciting finding out who were the winners of the Carnegie Medal and Amnesty CILIP Honour Medal. We went round the table asking everyone who they thought the winners were. "Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth", "The Smell of Other People's Houses", "The Stars at Oktober Bends" and "Wolf Hollow" were our group's favourites, with just two people going for "Salt to the Sea". Next week is our final meeting!

the funny meeting
Hey everyone. How are you all doing? Today, unfortunately, one person was missing but she only missed a drink of orange juice and two delicious biscuits. ;) Except feeding our stomachs, we also talked about how everyone is finding their books and how we should design our website just for you and who voted on our poll. Fortunately a lot of people voted but then one of us 'Oscar' voted for his book like 10 times, so that is why so many 'people' voted for "Sputnik's Guide to Life on Earth". I hope you carry on visiting our website even after we changed our name and have a nice day or night, when ever you are reading this. given to you by Dominika

We meet again
We had our second meeting on Tuesday the 18th of April and despite it being the first day back we all turned up. Hooorayyy :) Some people had finished their books, some people held on to them and two people gave up on their books. Salt to the Sea was "too muddly" and Rail Head "was not my thing". Stars at Oktober Bend, despite the lack of grammar was a good and inspiring read. Sputniks Guide to Life on Earth surprised one reader as it "made him think about things". We are looking forward to our next meeting and some more biscuits and book talk.
