This is our group favourite Greenaway title but also the most contentious (nothing beats a good debate for opening a book up).
Here are some of the individual comments:
This is a meaningless book. There was good illustration but not enough to carry the book.
I was impressed about so few words giving such a clear, meaningful meaning.
You need to take a lot of time with it. It looks short and snappy but....
I liked looking for the meaning. Like finding the red birds in each picture and trying to figure out why they were there,
It was an odd book. You had to decode the meaning on the basis of the pictures but sometimes it was like there were no links.
