Five Children On The Western Front
I have just started to read Five Children On The Western Front and it is really good. It is about people that have found a creature that can grant wishes. At the moment they have travel into the future and seen there older selves and there old butler, Jimmy who thinks he is in a dream. They go back to the present and put the Psammead down to go to sleep but when he wakes up he is somewhere else and doesn't know if he has travelled back into the future. But what will happen next will the Psammead find out if it is real or the future, find out in the next review bye.

The Lie Tree
I have not yet finished The Lie Tree due to the fact that it is quite hard to get into. Many people are saying The Lie Tree is not a very good book because it is quite hard to understand.

One - Emotional
Hi Robyn here. I have just finished reading one, and I am crying as I write this. Reading this book is like trading away your love, and this is exactly what Grace did. Not on purpose but it was for the best ... even at the matter of life and death. Tippi and Grace were known as the Siamese twins. They were two different people but were one from the hip down. Graces Heart was failing and if she were to pass away so would her other half of her. The only option was SEPARATION, and 18 hours of surgery. It was most likely Grace would go. They lay together for the HOURS of them together as one. They nuzzle close living the day as if it was their last. After being in an coma for over a week Grace looks over her shoulder waiting to see Tippi. But she isn't there. The doctors tell her Tippi is ill, very ill. And that her heart is failing. Tippi is bought to Graces ward, Laying there at the peak of death a few paces away from Grace. They say Tippi should stay, but Grace knew they were slightly lying. Knowing that her twin would drift away from her any time soon her dad pushes their beds together. But Tippi's eyes are hardly open like little slits among her eyelashes. Grace says 'Hello' to the pale body next to her as a faint whisper replies. Tippi's eyes slowly close ... Grace repeats 'Hello?' This time more concisely. The body lays still, the heart rate machine stops. Tippi's gone ... Grace is one ... on her own ... no longer a twin to another living soul. Such a moving story. Sorry if I made you cry or if I spoiled it for you. Read the rest of the book and you will be moved and have mixed reactions as EMOTIONS kick in ... and take over your mind.

The Shepherd's Crown, by Terry Pratchett
The Shepherd's Crown by Terry Pratchett is one of the best books I have read! Although I haven't finished it yet, I can still describe enough of the plot to persuade you to read it. The book is all about a young witch called Tiffany Aching who is to become a great witch. She also replaces one of the best witches that ever lived, Esmerelda Weatherwax. At first Tiffany couldn't dream of replacing such a witch like Esmerelda Weatherwax, but can she overcome her fears? Read this book to find out. I highly recommend this book :) Roux, Year 8

5 Children on the western front
I have only just started reading this book and I can already say I am loving it. I am quite a fussy reader but Five Children on the Western Front is one of my favourites. It has an element of mystery and drama but is also quite funny at the same time. I highly recommend this book!

Book : There Will Be lies.
People say don't judge a book by its front cover. This is a book YOU HAVE TO READ! In four hours, Shelby Jane Cooper will be struck by a car. Shortly after, she and her mother will leave the hospital and set out on a winding journey toward the Grand Canyon. All Shelby knows is that they’re running from dangers only her mother understands. And the further they travel, the more Shelby questions everything about her past—and her current reality. Forced to take advantage of the kindness of unsuspecting travellers, Shelby grapples with what’s real, what isn’t, and who she can trust . . . if anybody. . . What's happened in the past? Why are they going through the grand canyon? What are the dangers only her mum can understand?

Starting Blog !
Today we have started our blog spot, and we have already posted three reviews. I'm looking forward to reading the books ... especially ; One & The Lies We Tell Ourselves. From bright colours to mysterious blurbs we are all hoping to read these books. They all look so exciting and action packed. I have taken the book ; One, With me from the library. My friend Grace Rumsey has written a review and here it is: One is a book about two conjoined twins called tippi and grace. So far in their life they have tried to avoid being seen. When the two girls start school it all changes. They must face school and make friends and even lovers. But could in the end it risk becoming only one. This is so exciting and mysterious. And to get us thinking more here is the blurb: Here we are. And we are living. Isn't that amazing? How we manage to be at all. Their bond is unbreakable. I just cant wait to read this book. It has to be amazing ... I know it. :) ... By Robyn Corley, THE HIGHCREST ACADAMY
