Reading 4 Life
Llanelli,

The Hate U Give
The Hate U Give is an amazing book. It is a real eye opener and a massive reality check. it is an essential read and one of the best books I have ever read. THUG conveys really well racial inequality and how unfair the world is. I would rate this book a 6/5!!

Release by Patrick Ness
I am a big fan of Patrick Ness, for his novels are one that has a sense of both reality and magic, sown all into one. The dual narrative definitely kept me at the edge of my seat, although it was quite confusing to follow. Even on the last page, Plot A was much clearer than Plot B- I did not see a good enough reason for Plot B to be happening. It wasn't linked to the storyline at all and the characters of the narration met for merely a page or so. However, there was a sense of conflict, both internal and external in the heads of both characters as they both did not fit into the rules of their domain. The characters were not perfect, making them much more relatable; because of this, would give 'Release' by Patrick Ness 6.5 stars out of 10.

The Hate You Give
This is one of the best books I have ever read. I love the way the author conveys the main character?s emotions and thoughts with such feeling, as if the author has experienced this sort of problem them self. If you like books with meaning, feeling and also a bit of informality then this book will be fantastic for you to read. Because of the way the author writes, making even you somehow relate and feel, I would give this book a 8.5/10. It is amazing and I would 100% recommend this book to anyone looking for a good read.

Wed Wabbit
I would rate this book 1.5 stars out of 10 - and this is being generous. If this was directed for five year olds, then the author has done a great job. Although, I did like how Fidge's personality and character developed along the way. It was also good how they overcome their fears.

Beyond The Bright Sea
I didn't like reading this book because I felt it dragged too much. The genre was not one i would usually read. I would rate this book 4/10 because it wasn't very interesting.

Rook
It was not the best book I have read. I wasn't interested in the overall story line.

Beyond the bright sea
Beyond the bright sea is about a girl called Crow who is trying to find out where she comes from. She travels to an island which has been isolated for many years to learn about herself. I think the book is okay, there are some good and bad parts. I would rate this book 3 stars.

Saint Death
This book wasn't really my style so I wasn't very engaged in it and found it pretty boring to read.

After the Fire
Book of the year, for me anyway. Loved the story-line, and the way that the author successfully adapted her style of writing corresponding to the condition/mood of the main character: Moonbeam. A bit of romance; a bit of action; a lot of enjoyment. 5 Stars.
