Shadowing 2015
Welcome to the blog for Abingdon's Carnegie Shadowers. This is where everyone in the group is welcome to post their thoughts, whether it's on the book they're reading or on their experience of the shadowing process so far. Dr Gardner is looking forward to seeing your views (and to sharing his own)...

Pink and proud!
M-m-m, methinks there is a mischievous carnegieer masquerading as Mrs C ...... However, the newly styled page is based on a democratic group vote, not just the handiwork of Silas. For more democracy in action, don't forget to email GJC each week with your 'review of the week'.

New Page!!
Let the 'carniegieers' loose on the page today. Hopefully this will inspire them to get the reviews on and not just play on their i-pods! This new idea of mine will work well! New star review also! Iwan's really showed his flair for reading and writing. Looking for some more amazing reviews from him! definitely one to watch. Beginning to regret allowing Silas on the site, however as his female spirit seems t have turned us into a girls school! The girly writing is not really my style. I prefer the 'Shoot 'em Up' option personally!

half way there!
Half term over so Shadowing is half way to the final result! Hopefully lots of reading over the holiday in preparation for the Carnegie Quiz at Fitzharry's on Tuesday when all Abingdon shadowers pit their wits in teams from the six schools.

Carnegie Tea
Well, first official visit of Shadowing this year was last Thursday and gave a chance to meet the other Carnegie Shadowers in Abingdon, hosted by Larkmead School. Doughnuts and blurbs, squash and covers, review advice from Mark Thornton of Mostly Books - a good introduction to shadowing.
