1st week
The first week of our reading group and already people have finished book(s) and our opinions are split. So far I have read half of 'Creature of the Night' by Kate Thompson and my views are thust. it is an extremly well written book containing many interesting characters. the main character Bobby is like marmite - you either love him or you hate him for me i just can't decided. he is the perfect image of a sterotyped teenager to put it plain and simple a yob. but this isn't someone that i have come across and with in the first few chapters i don't wish to. a rebel moved from Dublin to the contryside he decides the only life for him is back home, stealing cars and robbing people - inbetween cigarettes. but all aside so far the book seems to be exceptionally good. Zoe.

Who We Are
We are the Redborne Shadowing Group. We have 9 members currently. Already some of us have read 3 books and we decided that 'Air Man' by Eoin Colfer was a definate favourite. I am currently reading 'Cosmic' by Frank Cottrell Boyce and others have been reading 'Creature of the Night' by Kate Thompson, 'Bog Child' by Siobhan Dowd, 'The Knife of Letting Go' by Patrick Ness and lastly 'Osterich Boys' by Keith Gray. So altogether we have been reading 6 books out of 7! Anyway thats all from me! Sam (redborne shadowing member)
