Jess reviews - The Paper Dolls
The Paper Dolls By Julia Donaldson I like the paper dolls because it shows that friends don’t just have to be real people, they can be anything that you want them to be. It also shows how your imagination can run wild. Review by Jessica Considine

Chelsea Reviews 'The day the Crayons quit'
The Day the Crayons Quit By Drew Daywalt In this story a little boy once decided to use his crayons, but inside the box of crayons were a bunch of letters saying “We quit!”. The crayons were not very happy, because they needed a little rest, or a few felt that they were not being used enough. The red crayon has decided that it has had enough of the little boy using it all year round and purple crayon says “If you do not start colouring inside the lines I am going to completely lose it!” I think that the drawings are quite effective because they look like a child has actually drawn them and they are big and bright. I feel that children would love treading this book. It would make children laugh and want to go and get their crayons and start drawing a picture for their bedroom wall. Review by Chelsea Hynes
