ALLERTON GRANGE
Leeds,

A Boy and a Bear in a Boat
I found this book quite pointless, there wasnt really a story line and it didnt grip me at all.

A boy an a bear in a boat
I found this book quite enjoyable and I found that even though the boy and bear were always in the boat, it didn't become boring.

In Darkness
I thought this book had a great storyline but was a little slow at the start. But overall I would recommend the book

Wonder
This was a consistently brilliant book. It was very touching and very well thought out. However, some of it was a bit predictable, especially the ending.

The Weight Of Water
This is a very emotional book, even the first few pages are quite moving due to her embarrassment of her shopping bag. I would recomend this to anyone of any ages, the layout is slightly different to anyother book.

Codename Verity
This, in the end, was brilliant, but the start of the book was quite boring. However, it did help to set the scene and the second part of the book was good enough to make up for the boring start. There is a massive twist near the end which completely surprised me.

Maggot Moon
This was a very clever, well-written book but it had a very short storyline and was not very believable. It seemed far too easy for the boy to walk into where they were filming the secret moon landing but it was a good tale of oppression and sacrifice.

A Boy And A Bear In A Boat
This is very, repetitive , book has no storyline and no twists, it is literally a boy and a bear on a boat.

Wonder
I liked this book, I thought the storyline was very imaginative and the characters were very interesting. Even though I enjoyed this book greatly, the genre isn't the genre I would usually choose.

The Weight of Water

In Darkness
Found this book really interesting, and the plot was very captivating. Really enjoyed the book.

Midwinterblood
This was a really weird book, with several different storyline strands which kept consistent character names. However, the reason it kept me reading was that I was interested to see how the storylines would join together, as they were set at different points in time. It turned out to be a love story which was really odd considering what had come before.

The Weight of Water
The book was quite moving and it was very well written. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a quick, but emotional, read.

A boy and a bear in a boat
I really didnt enjoy this book as the writing seemed to be aimed at a younger audience and the storyline had no real plot. I would reccomend to a younger person.

Maggot Moon
I thought this book had good description and storyline, but I found it less engaging to read because of the style it was written in

A Code Name Verity
I really enjoyed this book and it was the type of book I would usually choose to read. It was very interesting because it changed writer half way and it was also very unpredictable. I would reccomend anybody to read it as it was a very good book.

A Greyhound of a Girl
Usually I am not a big fan of ghost stories, but this brilliant, touching book makes excellent use of flashbacks and at times is hilarious.

I thought this book was interesting & the plot was adventerous, but as it was not the style of book i'd like to read I didn't really enjoy reading it.

A boy and a bear in a boat
This book is not very good at all; it has no real plot, it is a very simple book and it tries and fails to be funny. Occasionally it is quite funny and it could be touching if it had a plot, but overall it is a really bad book.

Maggot Moon
An interesting book, I would recommend this to anyone wanting to read a deeply-moving unusual novel. Personally, I did not enjoy this as much as others may do, as it was not my prefered genre.

Maggot Moon
Awful book, with no storyline or plot. The start of the book is really confusing and hard to get your head around.
