Carnegie 2nd Week
HI, We are in our 2nd week now and most of us have read at least one book ( that includes me) and starting on number 2. We spent some time today looking at the Greenaway books and discussing why they might have been chosen and if they deserved to be. Our fave. was Wolf Won't Bite as it had a good message and really excellent illustrations. Our least fave was Slogs Dad. The concensus was that the pics didn't work with the story and it was was quite disjointed in style.

Lets get started!
Hi, I am Ms Ellis, the group leader, and I'm really excited about our group's first meeting on April 26th. We hope to have 12-16 students in Years 8 and 9 taking part this year. I have read most of the books now and I did like most of them. I do have a personal favorite but I am not going to say which one just yet. However, I am going to start our blog off by saying that I actually DISLIKED one of the books and was utterly ambivalent to one of the others. Lets see if my group agrees !
