REVIEWS are coming in...
OK, so this isn't The Times Literary Supplement, but we're reviewing what we've read even if we don't love the book, if we aren't sure about the book, if it confuses us, if it enrages us, bores us, sends us to sleep...if we enjoy it, makes us laugh, makes us think, changes our outlook, if it makes us want to read more books like it, if it makes us want to read it again straight away! Read our reviews and let us recommend a good book to you!

We have LIFT OFF!
Back at school after a (well-earned?) holiday and most of us are either finished or just about to finish our first book from the shortlist. Well done to everyone for putting in the effort in their down-time to crack on with these reads - particularly those of us who found their choices tough going! An interesting discussion on our first session back about whether or not a book's title influences our attitude to it or persuades us to buy it...The Smell of Other People's Houses wrinkled a few noses!

CHAPTER AND VERSE is up and running!
We've got our books... we've had our cakes... we're about to start the Easter holidays and put our feet up and read our first book. Billie-Jo is way ahead of most of the rest of us as she's finished 'The Smell of Other People's Houses' - watch this space for her stellar critical analysis! Sorry not to have 'Aubrey and the Terrible Yoot' on the shortlist. We thought the subject matter was extremely relevant and Horatio Clare's videos about the book piqued our interest further. See you after Easter!
