Archbishop Tenison's School

Nation can be really boring at times. the reason for this is I find it hard to understand because the plot seems to keep changing. the characters personality haven't shown and you don't really get to know them enough to be attached to them. to make this book better i think he should have stuck to one storyline and introduced us to the characters better.

Rowan the Strange
Rowan the Strange is a good read I think that its quite gripping because its interesing, and the story line is a bit different to what some may normally read particularly me but the way it is written makes you kind of become attached to Rowan and what is happening around, also from just hearing a rough plot of the story you think some characters are going to be certain things that when you read the book and find out they arent.

The Ask and The Answer
This has been the best book so far, the others which i have read have been kinda dull in parts, whereas this book keeps you ivolved and in suspense throughout. It has some horrible, inhumane parts but has a well thoughtout plot. I didnt want to stop reading it, i hope the others are as good.

The Vanishing of Kathrina Linden...
This is my Favourite carnegie Book that i have Read so far, its really easy to read and get into and has an exciting plot with an unexcpected twist at the very end which kept me reading it. I liked the fact that it used some german words and names but it got a bit annoying trying to figure out what they meant, i also liked the way it begins with Pias Granny exploding because i found it funny which made me want to read the book and find out more about the characters especially herr Duster, because he wasnt really talked about in much detail until the end of the book. - Hannah

The vanishing and Chains
I have read these books and thought they were just amazing. The storyline in the vanishing was thrilling from the beginning to the end. You really felt that you were in the story with the character. Chains was the second book I read and this was really good. The way they combined history with a fiction book was really good. I did think it was a bit long though when they described everything she did.

Fever Crumb
Fever crumb was such a boring book and so confusing. I didn't understand it half the time. I didn't understand the story line because it kept changing all the time and it went into someone else's life. I think if this book had have been written better it would be more enjoyable

Which is the best?
I have read 3 out of the 8 and am on my fourth. I did begin to read Nations but it was so boring it sent me to sleep. It was confusing from the start and I couldn't get my head around it. The best book I have read so far is the vanishing it was a right thriller and i enjoyed reading the german words.

I can't actually give a full review on this because I put it down in the end because it was so annoying. I think the way the writer has wrote it , it would send anyone to sleep and also he has to make sure the story makes sense.

I have just started reading it but already it is pulling me in. the tension from the beginning really set the scene. I like how in this one if it changes to another person they make it clear and not just chapter 2 hi I'm Lucy. Who? i haven't read a lot but i can tell this is going to be a good book.

Ostrich Boys
I read this over the weekend it was good but i'm not sure about the whole idea of "taking Ross to Ross" it seems a bit odd. but the story other than that is good and the adventure that follows. I did get hooked on it so it does draw you in.

I don't know which is best!
I've already read two books (The Knife of Never Letting Go and Ostrich Boys) and I am on my third, Cosmic. My problem is that they are all brilliant, so I don't know which one to choose as the best. WOOT go cosmic!
