Meopham School Readers
Meopham, Kent

Lucy's First Blog
I have read all the Carnegie books as part of the Meopham School Readers they cover mainly topics about finding yourself, racism, religion and real life problems. These books are quite widely ranged with a variety of different styles of writing and great differences between the leading characters. Although I believe people deserve their own opinion?s, as the blogger of my group I will rate the Carnegie books in top eight. 1. The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas 2. After The Fire by Will Hill 3. Beyond the Bright Sea by Lauren Wolk 4. Release by Patrick Ness 5. Saint Death by Marcus Sedgwick 6. Rook by Anthony McGowan 7. Where The World Ends by Geraldine McCaughrean 8. Wed Wabbit by Lissa Evans If you don?t know what order to read the Carnegie books in I would recommend the reverse of the top eight list above. "Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are." Enjoy reading, never give up on it. Do not let anyone put you off; there is nothing wrong with spending a day reading a good book.
