The Song from Somewhere Else
I began reading this book on Tuesday and so far I have found the story a little bit strange because there are some anomalies in the story so far which make you want to read on. (G - Year 5)

Thornhill
I think the ending of Thornhill was very tragic because a big event that happened (which I won't tell you, just in case you read it). Overall, it is a very mysterious book and you have to think about the pictures and the words carefully. I would recommend this book to children in Year 4 and above. (M - Year 5)

The Song from Somewhere Else
We chose to read this book first because when we read the blurb we found it interesting. I have found this book very engaging because it's about a girl who is being bullied and whenever she hears a certain song she feels happy and she hasn't felt happy for a very long time. The song seems to be very powerful. (Year 3 and 4)

Thornhill
We started this book this week and we think it is filled with lots of tension and some twists and turns. I think it is very engaging for older primary school readers. (Year 5)
