Winners of Carnegie
Today as a group we celebrated the end of Carnegie with the results of the winner. It was good to hear that buffalo soldier won, those who had read it all thought it was a good book. We did our own vote as well at school and our results were quite different, we had 2 votes for buffalo soldier,2 for Apple and rain, 2 for tinder and 1 for the fastest boy in the world though we all thoroughly enjoyed all the Carnegie books We celebrated with dominos pizza and cake with squash to wash it down followed by lindor chocolates, so today was especially good. SHADOW ON!

This week we were busy handing in reply slips for the HIVE. Also, over the pat few weeks lots of books have been read and we are all still really enjoying ourselves! SHADOW ON!

Rocking on books!
This week we have had a new member join and some exciting news. On Tuesday we will be visited by Hannah Thomson, which is great, sadly we won't miss any lessons! Some people are nearing the end of their books and are excited to read the ends. All of these books are really good but which one shall win?... SHADOW ON!

Seeing as its polling day today, the past few weeks they have been saygreeksi the election could go any way. It is the same with the Carnegie books, there is no outstanding winner yet.

Books and biscuits!
In this session we had a good talk about the books, (while eating biscuits). One of us has finished reading Apple and rain, though not enjoying the middle of nowhere as much- but I totally agree with her. There is a lot of depth in the middle of nowhere. Some of the others have finished their books and have moved onto other Carnegie books. We are going to have a talk about books in the middle of the day in May, talking to authors, this will be good! SHADOW ON!

This meeting we scoffed on quality streets as we discussed our books. One of us is still really enjoying cuckoo song, another has read two books already. The others are finding buffalo soldier the best book they have ever read. Our meetings have also changed to a Wednesday due to other clubs going on. SHADOW ON!

This week we have been reading a variety of the Carnegie books. Two of us are reading Apple and Rain, one of us is reading the cuckoos song, another one from our group is reading the Patrick Ness book and the other two are reading Buffalo soldier. SHADOW ON!
