Posted on: 08 Jun 2016

lies we tell ourselves, liam
I will take it out and start reading it
Posted on: 08 Jun 2016

the rest of us Daniel
It was terrible/unique. I have never read a book that introduces an interesting concept, in this case magical/supernatural powers, and decides to tell it from the perspective of some uninteresting, humourless, un-relateable person that no one likes. I rate it -∞/10.
Posted on: 25 May 2016

Ghosts of XXXXXXXXX
This is an interesting book although the stories would flow better if they linked. Also, the word "Heaven" in the title really put me off because it hinted at religion.
Posted on: 25 May 2016

There will be lies
It is a great book, one of the best ones ive ever read. It is cool and the PLOT TWIST is amazing! As ive seen before, when something goes wrong in life just shout PLOT TWIST! and move on
Posted on: 25 May 2016

The five children of the western front
i really couldn't read it. it isn't my thing.
Posted on: 25 May 2016

ONE!!...MR HILL
YOU'VE GOT TO READ THIS BOOK!..One is fantastic, it's got it all, a great plot, funny, sad, great characters. I don't want to spoil it for you but it's about conjoined twins who have to start mainstream school. Fans of Wonder will love it, in fact anybody who reads this book will love it!..my favourite so far, and it will take some beating.
Posted on: 20 May 2016

One
Emily Roberts - One is a really good and interesting book about conjoined twins.

I could not get into this book at all...I tried a couple of times but really didn't get it which is a shame as I really enjoy Patrick Ness books.
Posted on: 11 May 2016

Mr Hill
I have just finished 'THERE WILL BE LIES' and it is a fantastic book with one of the best twists I've ever read. Without giving too much away it's about a girl on the run with her mother to escape her violent dad..but not all is what it seems!!...
Posted on: 11 May 2016

Mr Hill
Morning, I have started reading LIES WE TELL OURSELVES which is one of the Carnegie books. It is set in America in 1959 and follows the life of a group of black students as they become the first to go to a mixed race school in their town. So far they have had their first day ay school and the treatment from students and staff is awful. It's based on true events and it makes you realise how difficult it must have been for these students at the school where they experienced violence, racism and discrimination constantly...one of my favourite books of the year so far!
Posted on: 11 May 2016

Matt Hannon The rest of us just live here
The story of the book is "Unique" as instead of following a hero or someone special, it follows the story of a super heroes friend. Its a new style of story however it isn't a very good one. I tried to read this entire book but I simply couldn't stand it.
Posted on: 11 May 2016

Kennedy Freeman,One
The book I am currently reading has got to be the best I have read yet. The writer has put a lot of thought into the story making me not wanting to put the book down since. I cant wait till I reach the end.

Posted on: 11 May 2016

Sonny-The Lie Tree
It was an enjoyable enough read, though not really the style of story i like. It wasvery well written and i didn't spot any mistakes though i wouldn't read it again
Posted on: 11 May 2016

STONE COLD.......WOW
I read 'Stone Cold' by Robert Swindell over the weekend, what a great book. It has two narrators, the first is a homeless boy called Link who tells us about his life on the streets and the second is a man who is murdering homeless people, their stories cross when Links friend Ginger is murdered by the man. The description of being homeless is really believable and really gets you thinking about the reasons why people are homeless and how they are treated by society once they are in that position.....excellent.
