Our joint meeting was a great success!
On Thursday we had a great joint meeting with Lady Eleanor Holles School and Hampton Community College. When we arrived at the agreed meeting place (Lady Eleanor Holles) we were shown to the library where we met up with the LEH (Lady Eleanor Holles) shadowing group. The girls then showed us around the library. As soon as we had finished the tour, the Hampton Community College school shadowing group arrived. When all the groups had assembled in the centre of the library, we introduced ourselves. After this we played a game where you had a name tag on your back and you had to guess what it said. All of the name tags had book characters written on them, so we went around and asked people from other groups about our name tags.
When we had all guessed our book characters, we were served refreshments by the LEH hosting team.
By then it was time to get back to school. We were sad we had to leave but also happy that the meeting was such a success. We hope to do more of the same thing in the future.
