Prisoner of the Inquistition
Prisoner of the Inquisition by Theresa Breslin is an extraordinarily good book. Much like White Crow, I didn't think much of it when I saw the cover, but again, I was was proved wrong. The book is set in Spain in the 1400's, around the time Christopher Colombus was campaigning to Queen Isabella to fund his trip to America. It is an extremely well told tale and you will not want to put this book down. My only complaint was that every now and again I couldn't understand the language used, but that might just be me. Overall, this is a really good book and I think you should read it. Oliver :)

White Crow.
Finished reading 'White Crow' by Marcus Sedgewick. This book suprised me as when I first saw the cover the first thing I noticed was how boring it looked. I'm guessing this is where the line 'Don't judge a book by it's cover' comes from. This book (though a little confusing at times, so you may need to read it twice) is full of suprises and you will find that you can not put the book down. So in a nutshell. This was a good book and it exeeded all my expectations. Oliver :)

Farther
I (Giorgia) have just finished reading Farther. I found it very simple and it only had around one line of text per page. I think it could have had slightly less pictures than it did but the illustrations were very ellaborate, helping to make you feel like you were at the scene.

Reading books
I (Josiah) have read these books: Cloud tea monkeys Farther And now I am reading the book called "The Bride's Farewell". It's not really my genre but I am enjoying reading it.

The Brides Farewell
I finished reading this book over the weekend. I found this book quite dull and boring, not grabbing me at all in the opening. It used quite old fashioned language and I found it quite hard to understand. However I did like the descriptive paragraphs which went into quite a lot of detail. Emily XXX

I (Sian) am reading prisoner of the inquisition and i love this book! This book has drawn me into it and i feel it is really well paced. The book suprised me right from the first sentence and i believe it has a chance of winning!
