Charlotte's Blog
I am quite happy with the selection of books that we have been offered to read. I have enjoyed reading Blood Family and All the Truth that's in Me. I am looking forward to reading more of these books. The website is interesting you can look at what other schools have read and see what they think of the books. In my opinion I think it's a good descison far all schools to read for the Carnegie Award and share their experiences.

In my opinion the whole Carnegie scheme is well done, especially the book choice. I have enjoyed the books I have read so far. I have The Bunker Diary and I'm reading A Liar and a Spy at the moment. I also the website is very thought out especially in the reviews section.

I like the Carnegie selection as there are many differnt genres. I have read The Child's Elephant and I'm reading Rooftoppers at the moment. I like posting the reveiws and reading other peoples reviews before I start to read another book. I think it's a great idea to see what other people think of a book and to be able to share your ideas.

Each Carnegie book that i have read so far have been amazing! I am glad that I have been chosen to take part in reading the Carnegie books this year. My favourite book this year is The Bunker Diary. The Carnegie Award is a good chance for pupils to improve their reading.

In my experience the Carnegie has gone very well so far. I like the fact that we have our own web page. I have found the books hard to get into because I prefer teen love stories. I am reading Rooftoppers at the moment, this has been difficult for me to get into, but I will read Bunker Diary next as this looks really interesting. The first book I read was Blood Family.

I think the books I have read so far have been brilliant. I'm really looking forward to reading the other books. I think it's a really good idea that each school has their own web page. Posting the reveiws is easy to do. I enjoy reading other people's reviews and finding what they think of the books.
