We haven't finished yet!!!
Friday - We went to the Intimate Theatre to find out which book had won, we really wanted The Dunderheads to win. When we got there we saw the Mayoress and an author of children's books. We asked the author lots of questions about how and why she became an author and listened to her read one of her books called 'Robin Hood'. We crossed our fingers as the results were read out... The Dunderheads was Enfield's winner - yipee!!! :@) BUT... the overall winner was 'Harry and Hopper' :O Oh well never mind!

Catching up with Alex and Anisha!
Long time, no see!!! Sorry we haven't been blogging :( We've been REALLY busy so here's what we've been up to... Tuesday - In the morning we went to Ridge Avenue Library to have fun with Ann and the shortlisted books. Ann read 'The Dunderheads' and 'There Are Cats In This Book'. Then we made funky book marks which had our special talents written on them. Later on that day some of us did an assembly for the whole school telling them about the shortlisted books and we asked them to vote for their favourite illustrator. The results were... The Dunderheads - 69 votes Crazy Hair - 44 votes Leon And The Place Between - 8 votes There Are Cats In This Book - 11 votes Millie's Marvellous Hats - 11 votes The Great Papper Capper - 1 vote so... THE DUNDERHEADS won - yipee!!!

Marley's post about 'There Are Cats In This Book'.
Hey people I'm back to tell you about There Are Cats In This Book. Funny cats but a bit childish. Lots of flaps and the cats are playful. They are like friends for us. P.S. If you have nothing to do read this book.
