Review of I Want My Hat Back by Jon Klassen
We the book was adventurous like the Gruffalo and was both happy as well as sad. We liked that it was colourful, very detailed, exciting and good for children. There was nothing we didn't like about the story! Rory, Robbie and Holly.

Review of Pirates 'n' Pistols by Chris Mould
The book is spooky, creepy and mad and the gold makes it look old fashioned. The story is a good length and detailed and easy to read but some of the complicated words might put younger kids off. Aiden, Jake, Paulina and Gemma

Review of Ducks by Nicola Davies
It is a calm book and sounds like a man may have written it. It is a mix of information and a story, which made it a different kind of book, but you always know what's happening. The facts text was too small and there were too many facts and challenging words for for younger children.

Review of Oh No, George! by Chris Haughton
It is a funny books especially for the wee ones! We found it a bit boring as there is a lot of repeating. It would be better for younger kids. Marta, Josh, Connor and Aiden.
