Sowe Valley Primary School
Coventry,

harris finds his feet
danger zone:D.A.N. here. I was slightly dissapointed with this book. I thought there'd be more of a story line to it. The art work is of a cute style that the smaller children will love. The writing is it's main let down though, it's just a big black boring style and on some pages covering the pictures, I don't think the text was thought about much.

All the Books
Everyone in our group has read 3 or 4 books now and I think the ones I've read have matching colours to the type of text in their pictures but can't say what I think is the best because I haven't read them all yet ,but out of the books I've read Harris Finds his Feet and The Way Back Home are standing out in front of the rest. For 2nd I would say Savage and I'm realy exited about that because my teachers confirmed the pentagon group have got tickets to go and see the illustrater of it. This is Humorous Heidi and goodbye.

Harris finds his feet.
Hi, Jurassic Jack here and im gonna be talking about Harris finds his feet. It is a book for a younger audience and it explains why Harris has such big feet. He shields himself from the sun with his feet, bounds up the tallest of mountains and leaps extremely high. I found this book easy to understand as it is aimed at younger children.

About Way Back Home
This is Humorous Heidi here and I'm gonna tell you my opinions of the Way Back Home. I loved it because it's silly. I mean when would you find a aeroplane in your cupboard and your wouldn't be able to breathe in space .The pictures add to the text well. It's a simple book to under stand and I would say the it's for 6-11 year olds because any older and you woud get slightly board. The plot of the story is that a boy is tidying away when he finds an aeroplane in his cupboard. He flies higher and higher until he reaches space then he runs out of fuel and lands on the moon. Soon an alien comes to join him stranded on the moon.the boy parachutes down to earth to get the things they need to fix there aeroplane and space-ship then climbs a rope back up and they fix their aeroplane and space-craft in the end they get home and the boy receives a walky-talky from the alien so they can keep in touch.

Beginners... Reading The Books!
Hi! I'm Giggling Grace and I am writing Sowe Valley's first blog! We are having a fantastic time reading all the books. We are taking it in turns to write a blog. Lucky me... is first! Our website is pretty jazzy and the colours are vibrant and bright. Our poll has been voted on by The Pentagon Group and we have chosen different authors.
