Horbury Academy
Horbury,

Liar and Spy
I have read the book near to the end, I liked a few bits of it but not a lot. It got a bit confusing to me and it wasn't my kind of book.

Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell (Reviewed by Austin)
This was a really good book, not filled with action, but it still made you want to turn the pages. It has a really unique storyline and the way it is also a little bit funny makes you want to keep reading.

the wall
even though I couldn't get probably in to the book, the part I did read I thought was mysterious and very interesting I also thought that the boy in it was very cheeky to his parents like most of us do these days and he wouldn't listen when his mum said "DO NOT GO OVER THE WALL" .

All the truth thats in me
So I started reading this book and at first I thought it looked good . When I started to read it I found it was a nice easy book to understand however as the story went on I found it hard to get into the book and to fully understand what the author was trying to tell me as she wrote going it in the second person. I would recommend this All the truth that's in me for 13 year olds and above as its a difficult book to understand.

The Child's Elephant
I didn't finish this book I only got to chapter one. It was slightly above my reading level and I could tell I had to read the first chapter three times just to understand it and I wasn't enjoying it so I swapped it for roof toppers with I almost half way it is much better.

reading
Even though you might not have the time you might want to know that all the tv you watch is really bad for you all so instead of ruining your eyes when you are only young you should grab a book and spend some time reading. you don't have to read all day you could just read for about a hour. mkelly year 7

All the truth thats in me
All the truth that's in me is a book written by Julie Berry, I haven't finished the book but so far I'm enjoying it. At first it was hard to get into the mood of the book as it was hard to understand, but with a little perseverance you are sure to enjoy this book. Its about a young girl that goes missing with her best friend and after two years of being separated from her life she returns home, by herself. No one knows what happened to Judith as she had her tounge cut out, leaving her unable to speak. As a child she was fond of a boy Lucas that once owned her heart for as long as she can remember. As the story goes on she faces challenges leaving her to choice from something most dear.

The Fault in our Stars
As I have not yet read a Carnegie book, I have read The Fault In Our Star. Its an amazing book that will definitely bring tears. It is about a girl named Hazel and how she meets a boy named Augustus and falls in love. However, they have cancer. Its funny and true yet its sad at times. This book is so famous it is turning into a movie. I hope you can read this great book before it turns into a movie because truthfully, books are better than movies!
