The Book Family
So far our group has become closer reading these books and we all share the same love and passion for books. However some of our group have become bored with some of the books hopefully the next book they read will captivate their attention and they will enjoy these wonderful books.

books books BOOKS!
So far all the books have been read by at least one of our group members. And all in all we are enjoying them aside from the few tear jerking moments we have and will experience reading these books. The main difference in the books to normal fiction we are so used to reading is that key events and moments in these book are from or based on actual events in history. For example Salt to the Sea reminded me of the titanic.

The group so far
So far not many people have finished the books but some have. This is our opinions so far. Rail Head by Philip Reeve: An imaginative world set far into the future brings my dreams to life in the adventures that takes place while riding the rails. (Russell) Sputnik's Guide to life on Earth by Frank Cottrell Boyce: A funny story that makes me whish I could do a lot of stuff Sputnik can do, it is amazing! (Russell) The stars at oktober bend by Glenda Millard: A good story with a severe lack of punctuation. (Eliana) The Smell of Other People's Houses by Bonnie-Sue Hitchcock: A good story with a great plot and interesting characters but at times I mixed up characters and it's not always clear who they are talking about. (Russell) Beck by Mal Peet and Meg Rosoff: This book was really good. I enjoyed learning about what life was like for Beck. (Emma) The Bone Sparrow by Zana Fraillion this book is really interesting what it was like back then. Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys: This book wound you back through a portal and you felt you where with the characters in their adventures. This book was one of the best I've read all year. Wolf Hollow by Lauren Wolk: This book is mysterious and very cute as the friendship forms between the two characters and Betty is made out as a beggar who knows how to use fear to her advantage. (Eliana)

The start up
Ok we all very exited about this book line up. And we have all had a chance to look at the website in the running, one book has been read already and as I read it I can personally say it was a real page turner. sadly I thought I will have to wait to read the five other books. I want to read as the rest took two. Cant wait to read the rest and have fun talking about them with my team mates. I can already tell these books are going to be brilliant!
