Our last session - apart from going to Bournemouth Library tomorrow to meet the other two groups St Michaels and St Lukes who are also shadowing the awards with librarians from Bournemouth Library. Today we looked at The Dunderheads and There are Cats in this Book. The Dunderheads is THE BEST!!!!! We gave it 50 out of 50. Hope it wins the award.

18th June
We looked at The Graveyard Book and Harry & Hopper today. Lots of us plan to read The Graveyard Book now. We had a quiz - boys against girls - about one of the pictures in The Graveyard Book. The boys won!

16th June blog
Greenaway award meeting 3: Just reveiwed 'Leon and the place between'. Very enjoyable and funny book. Then we listened to Hilary and the group reading. It was 'Crazy Hair', I didn't enjoy that as much. Our next meeting is on Friday - Katie

11th June blog
Today we looked at and read 'TheGreat Paper Caper'. This book was comedic and full of crime enjoyable for ages 7-10. We also did a copy of Dragon's Den where 2 people promoted 'The Great Paper Caper' and 'Millie's Marvellous Hat'. More people voted for 'The Great Paper Caper'. Thank you for reading - Rosalynd

First meeting 9th June!
Today was our first meeting, we met in the school's library. In the meeting we discussed and reviewed books short listed for the Greenaway Award, this is an award for picture books, the winner receives a medal and prestige. Also in a few weeks we're going to Bournemouth Library for the morning to play quizes and vote our favourite book for the award. Thanks for reading - Brandon
