First impressions
Revolver The Vanishing Fever Crumb Chains Nation Craig says: Finished the book within a week, it was that gripping. A mysterious novel full of loose ends and forgotten pasts, all summarised in the fantastic climax to a brilliant book. Marcus Sedgewick is definitely an author worth reading, with his witty and amazing adventures that will have you reading for hours on end just like me! Jacob says: I like the book due to the fact that I think that it has a lot of mystery at the beginning. I would have but the exams have limited my reading times. Peter says: The Vanishing is a misleading mystery story. In the first line, it says “My grandmother exploded” at first impression, we think that this is an assassination, but she dies by dropping a candle on an overly fumed jumper. We think that the main girl vanishes, but a completely different one does. The Vanishing is a story which you cannot predict. Charlie says: I have only read the opening due to exams this week but the opening was fantastic and really tempted me to forget about exams and start reading! Mrs Caine says: I wish I’d had more time to read this week ! Chris says: this book is really strange and bewildering, but I too haven’t read that much this week. This book is really good so far.
