Quotes from the books
TINDER - and it was then I saw Death CUKOO SONG - The first things to shift were the doll's eyes, the beautiful grey-green eyes. slowly they swivelled, until their gaze was resting on Triss's face.

Enthusiastic readers!
Everyone in our English group has recently taken out a book to read over a period of time. There is a great variety in this year's shortlists including mystery, tragedy and comedy. We have really enjoyed our books and are enjoying posting our reviews.

Welcome to Carnegie 2014
The CILIP Carnegie shortlist looks very interesting this year. I've read The Bunker Diary and thought it was really good, if rather grim. Hope it's not too horrifying! I've just started All the Truth That's In Me and am impressed so far. I am looking forward to 8xEn1's first impressions and very excited to see their reviews. I know some of them will have strong opinions and I'm going to enjoy listening to them share them. I'm hoping Miss Tolliday will nominate a blogger to keep us all up to date so this may be the only post from me! Happy Reading from Mrs Huett
