The Voyager Academy Book Group
Peterborough,
Group status: Carnegie 2015 is coming soon!

Yes, we always read like this.

Add us on Twitter! @tvabookgroup The Book Group is open to all staff and students at the school. We meet in the library on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:00. We obviously all enjoy reading and eating jaffa cakes as well as some amazing scones made by Kim! We have shadowed the Carnegie and Kate Greenaway medals in 2013 and look forward to 2014. We hosted last year's event for other schools in and near Peterborough, and plan to do the same again this year. We have our own webpage, where we write reviews of the novels we have read, and blog to one another during the week. We'd love more people to be in our group, so if you are interested then let Miss Farrag know. We are part of making The Voyager Academy a literacy community, and are keen for everyone to enjoy reading. (Phoebe, Angela, Kathy, Kim, Khaled, Cerys, Sila, Tamzyn, Connor, Mykolas, Steven, Miss Blundell and Miss Farrag - when she can!).
