Ilminster, Somerset
Group status: Now we have got going and we have more books, the pace is picking up! Some of us have bought books ourselves, others have joined local libraries and we have a couple of sets in school so we are managing to share them. We have been talking more about books

Books and us!

Welcome! We are pupils from Swanmead Community School in Ilminster who work in English lessons and at home to read, review and talk about the Carnegie books. We have all entered the 'Journey' writing competition and enjoyed an interesting discussion about authors' publishing rights. Next is a group discussion about human rights which we are looking forward to.

Definitely- think about the person. Get to know them before judging.
