Group status: We are excited to read all the 2017 carniege books!

We are an all girls school and Years 7 -13 are in the Shadowing group. We have named our group 'Buried in Books'. We all love reading (of course!) and most of the books we have read so far are really interesting. The shadowing scheme encourages us to explore books that we probably would not have read otherwise. This is the first time we have done the Shadowing program and we will definitely carry on in the future. We have some mixed reviews from steaming hot to freezing cold. We have found two common denominators between several of the books: Humanity and Discrimination. We have also found that their is a range of Diversity this year in the Carneige shortlist. Note: Some of our reviews have strong views and are not meant to be personal.
