Group status: we're sleeping
Our group name is 'Shadowers'. Our group is made up of Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils. They are a very enthusiastic group who had devoured all the books in this year's shortlist. We introduced the Award as part of a Library session and read a chapter of three of the books, just to whet their appetites and it worked. Even reluctant readers wanted to be involved and have managed to read half of the selection so far. We meet every Thursday lunchtime officially but they drop into the library breaktimes and lunchtimes to discuss their current favourite, which changes with each book read.
