Group status: Two groups of year 9 students will meet once a fortnight during an English lesson to discuss, review and blog about their reading.

Broadoak LRC

Two groups or amazing readers from Year 9 have been hand picked by their English teacher to take part in this year's Shadowing groups. Our school librarian, Mr Morse, leads the group and provides books and biscuits. However the shortlist will also be available to all students wishing to take part in our Carnegie Challenge this year, where there will be a prize for the student who reads the most.
