Group status: We're all delighted with the annoucement of the winner of the 80th Anniversary Carnegie Medal. Salt to the Sea was our Shadower's joint favourite, along with Railhead.

Carmel Shadowers

We have 10 students from Years 7 to 11 reading the shortlisted titles. We've had a wonderful afternoon discussing all the titles. It has been a difficult choice this year as all of the books had an impact upon the reader. Shadowers are now tasked with sharing their opinions of these brilliant books with their peers!
