All Saints School
Group status: We are currently very excited about reading this year's selection.

We read, review, and recommend for anybody!

We are a lively mix of Key Stage 3 students, ready to read, review and recommend. We quite like alliteration, and we've already looked at the Book Trust books. Last year we predicted the Carnegie winner - the fabulous Buffalo Soldier. We love a variety of books - especially those which have unexpected endings... This year we've been lucky enough to visit our friends at Allenbourne and meet a Carnegie regional judge, which gave us a real insight into the selection process. We're anticipating an exciting announcement next Monday. Our prediction is a big win for "Salt to the Sea."

What is the worse thing that can happen to a new book?

To find out someones already read it and had written all over it
To rip the first page as you open it
To find out all the characters have come to life and are now trying to kill you
To spill food or water on it
To have a pet eat it
To accidently fold the front cover
To fold the pages
To find out it was cheaper in another bookstore
