Saint Martins School
Group status: we're sleeping
We are one of two groups of Year Seven pupils from St Martin’s School in Essex. Taking part in the Carnegie Shadowing are 17 girls, 13 boys, our teacher Miss Balchin and our two librarians, Mrs Bains and Mrs Pike. This is the second time that our school has participated in the Carnegie Shadowing but only our first so we are all really excited.
We are most excited about reading ‘Clay’, ‘Turbulence’ and ‘The White Darkness’ as they look as if they will be thought provoking. We are intrigued by the different style of narrative in ‘Tamar’. Although ‘framed’ is for a younger audience we are keen to put our skills to the test in reviewing it.
We are really enjoying the books so far and can’t wait to read everyone else’s opinions of them.
